Elite XL Fly Reels Warranty Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing an Elite XL Fly Reel. We are proud of the craftsmanship of our products and offer a 12-month warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The following terms and conditions apply:

1. Warranty Coverage

This 12-month warranty covers:

• Faulty workmanship: Any defects in the construction or assembly of the fly reel.
• Defective components: Failures of materials or parts under normal use due to manufacturing defects.

2. Warranty Period

The warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim.

3. Warranty Services

If your Elite XL Fly Reel is found to have defects covered by this warranty, DNA Fishing Tackle will, at its discretion:

• Repair the faulty part(s), or
• Replace the defective component(s) with new or refurbished parts, or
• Replace the entire reel with an equivalent model if repair is not feasible.

4. Registration Requirements

For purchases made through an authorized stockist:

• You must register your fly reel within 30 days of purchase by visiting the DNA Fishing Tackle distributor's website and uploading a copy of your receipt.
• If the fly reel is not registered within 30 days, the warranty may be voided.

For purchases made directly from the DNA Fishing Tackle website, your warranty will be automatically registered at the time of purchase.

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

• If your reel was purchased from a stockist, return it to the stockist for inspection.
• For reels purchased directly from the DNA Fishing Tackle website, please contact our customer service team.

6. To file a claim:

2. Provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
3. If requested, ship the reel to our service canter. Shipping costs for warranty claims are the responsibility of the customer.

7. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or abuse.
• Normal wear and tear, including environmental damage (e.g., saltwater, sun exposure).
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs by third parties.
• Accidental damage, such as drops, impacts, or improper use.
• Failure to follow proper care and maintenance instructions.

8. Limitations

• DNA Fishing Tackle’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts.
• This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages.
• The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

9. Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

10. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes arising under this warranty will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Australia. Elite XL Fly Reels Warranty
