Thank you for choosing DNA Fishing Tackle accessories. We are proud of the quality and performance of our products and stand behind them with the following warranty terms and conditions.

Warranty Periods

·        Fly Boxes over AUD $15 retail value — 12 Month Warranty

·        Fly Boxes under AUD $15 retail value — 6 Month Warranty

·        Fishing Tools and Accessories — 12 Month Warranty

·        Sunglasses — 12 Month Warranty

·        Fly Vests and Packs — 12 Month Warranty

·        General Accessories — 12 Month Warranty

Please note:

·        Fly Rods are covered under a separate Fly Rod Warranty Card.

·        Fly Reels are covered under a separate Fly Reel Warranty Card.

·        Fly Lines are covered under a separate Fly Line Warranty Card.

Warranty Coverage

·        Faulty workmanship

·        Defective materials

·        Failures caused by manufacturing defects under normal intended fishing use

Warranty Period

·        The applicable warranty period begins from the original date of purchase.

·        Warranty applies to the original owner only and is non-transferable.

·        Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

Warranty Services

If a DNA Fishing Tackle accessory product is found to have a manufacturing defect covered under this warranty, DNA Fishing Tackle may, at its discretion:

·        Repair the defective product, or

·        Replace the product with the same model where available, or

·        Replace the product with an equivalent product of similar value, or

·        Provide a refund where appropriate

Warranty Exclusions

·        Normal wear and tear

·        Cosmetic damage including scratches, fading, stains, or surface wear

·        Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or improper handling

·        Damage caused by impact, crushing, dropping, or improper storage

·        Rust, corrosion, or environmental damage caused by saltwater exposure or lack of maintenance

·        Zippers, clips, hinges, foam inserts, elastic materials, or straps worn through normal use

·        Damage caused by overloading bags, vests, packs, or accessories beyond intended use

·        Damage caused by UV exposure, heat, chemicals, insect repellent, sunscreen, or cleaning products

·        Broken fly box hinges, latches, or inserts caused by excessive force or impact

·        Lens scratching or accidental damage to sunglasses

·        Products modified, repaired, or altered after purchase

·        Any damage caused by accidental misuse or general fishing wear

These types of failures are considered normal wear, accidental damage, or misuse and are not covered under warranty.

Fly Box Warranty Clarification

Due to the lower retail price point and consumable nature of entry-level fly boxes under AUD $15, these products carry a reduced 6-month warranty period only.

Fly boxes above AUD $15 retail value are covered by a full 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.

General Warranty Conditions

·        Proof of purchase may be required for all warranty claims.

·        DNA Fishing Tackle reserves the right to inspect the product before approving any warranty claim.

·        Replacement products may vary slightly depending on product availability.

·        Shipping and handling charges may apply for warranty replacements.

·        DNA Fishing Tackle reserves the right to repair, replace, substitute, or refund products at its discretion.

·        DNA Fishing Tackle reserves the right to make the final decision on all warranty claims.
